About the Founder of FAB
Since 2002, Kate Volman has been leading the service, sales and community relations efforts for the Greater Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce. She left the chamber for a short time to start a leadership training and consulting company, but her love of the chamber industry brought her back to her current role, the Vice President of Business Development. Kate is actively involved in her community.
She is the founder of FAB, Female & Beautiful, a program designed to promote positive self-esteem among young women. Kate supports many charitable organizations including The American Cancer Society, The George Snow Scholarship Fund, Boca Raton Educational Television, PBCC’s Summer Youth College, March of Dimes and The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. K
ate's work has been honored as a finalist selection for the 2006 and 2007 South Florida Business Journal’s Up & Comers Award, and for the 2006 Soroptimist International Women of Distinction award. She is the recipient of the 2006 Making a Difference Award from Soroptimist International for her work with women and girls. She also received the Women of Spirit Award from The American Red Cross in honor of her commitment to the community.
